New Conversions: Giant Roam and Giant Rove

Giant Rove
Electric Giant Rove with 200Watt Conversion

Giant Roam
Giant Roam with 350 Watt Conversion

Recently we converted two Giant Hybrid bikes for a couple looking to cover greater distances in more comfort on their recreational rides.
As bikes with ‘do anything’ versatility, both the Giant Rove and the Giant Roam make excellent conversion options both featuring rugged yet lightweight aluminium frames, suspension forks with around 80mm of travel and hydraulic disc brakes for excellent control in all riding conditions. Giant have made quality bicycles for all levels and all types of riding for decades now and this has made them among our most popular bikes to convert.

These have been fitted with our mini motor kits running between 200 and 350 Watts for a cruising speed of 32 km/h and 35 km/h respectively, whilst providing enough torque to assist when the going gets hilly. Battery wise, the Rove runs an 11Ah rear rack battery for a range of between 35 and 40 kilometres between charges while the more powerful Roam runs an 11.6Ah Tube battery for a range of approximately 35 kilometres. With a wide range of conversion options available, we’re able to offer conversion kits to suit all types of riding on a myriad of different bicycles.
