This is a pretty solid bike to make electric. It’s the Urban 20 from ORBEA. We put on the new SOLAR BIKE mini-motor kit that comes in black and is laced into a deep dish 50mm red rim. Looks neat and can be driven hard up to 500W. The bike’s great, it can really be thrown around easily and is also great for commuting with the 700c rims. It has fantastic geometry.  This is still one of our favourite bikes to convert to electric.  It’s typically available for $1800 (bike = $600, kit = $1050, labour = $50).  This one is currently on special in the store for $1500.  All electric components (motor and battery) are brand new but the bike was a previous demo bike using a mid-drive kit and has had about 200-500 km put on it.  Just been service though so it rides like brand new – but faster with the electrics.
